Six years ago, I started at Hoogendoorn Growth Management as an Export Desk Employee. Today, I work with great enthusiasm as a Business Development Manager.

What I love about my job is its versatility. No two days are the same, which keeps me sharp. I enjoy building our network and exploring new collaborations. Additionally, it is inspiring to contribute to the launch of marketing campaigns and products. The combination of creativity and collaboration makes my work dynamic and challenging.

Technology and innovation are the driving forces behind my work. Whether it’s finding new partners or exploring emerging markets, I see innovation as the key to creating value for our customers and partners. Identifying strategic opportunities is one of the most exciting aspects of my job.

In five years, I see myself continuing to contribute to the growth and innovation of Hoogendoorn, together with an increasingly strong and further developed Business Development team. The focus will be on transforming the horticultural sector, where technology and sustainability come together for more efficient food production. I want to position Hoogendoorn as the strategic partner for companies looking to take this step by developing new collaborations and entering emerging markets.

A proud moment for me was being invited to speak at Expo 2020 in Dubai. My presentations at the Netherlands Pavilion, where I shared my vision on the future of horticulture and technology, inspired many people and had a lasting impact. Additionally, the launch of IIVO was a highlight of my career at Hoogendoorn.

In recent years, I have experienced how international the horticultural sector is and how strong the focus on innovation is within Hoogendoorn. This has positively surprised me and motivates me to continue contributing to our growth.
