Querétaro, Mexico – October 12, 2026

Hoogendoorn has expanded its Latin American headquarters in Querétaro, Mexico, doubling its previous space at Terra Business Park. The expansion reflects the company's growing presence in the Latin American horticultural market and its continued commitment to strengthening local support for customers and partners throughout the region.

The expanded facility provides additional space for Hoogendoorn’s growing local team. It also includes a dedicated area for customer and partner training, creating more opportunities to share knowledge, strengthen technical expertise, and work more closely with growers throughout the region.

Hoogendoorn has served the Mexican market since 2010, first from the Netherlands and later from Canada. In 2014, the company opened its first local office at Agropark, before moving to Terra Business Park in Querétaro in 2019. Since then, Hoogendoorn has continued to strengthen its position in the region, expanding its customer base, local team, and capabilities to support projects across Mexico and Latin America.

Reflecting on the company's growth and the importance of its local presence, Peter Hendriks, CEO of Hoogendoorn, emphasized the role of the people behind Hoogendoorn's success.

“Despite all the uncertainty, our company continues to grow strongly, and I am proud of that. But when I think about why we are growing, I look at the people in this room: our customers, our partners, and our colleagues,” said Hendriks. “That is also why we are investing in our presence here. In people who know you, understand local conditions, and are close by when you need them.”

For Iñigo Ochoa, General Manager of Hoogendoorn Latin America, the expanded headquarters represents more than additional space. It reflects the relationships and trust built over the years.

“This new office is not only a sign of growth, but also a reflection of everything we have built together with our customers, partners, and team,” said Ochoa. “We hope it will be a place where we can continue staying close to our customers, learning together, sharing knowledge, and finding better ways to work.”

The expanded headquarters was officially inaugurated on October 8 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by Hendriks and Ochoa. The celebration brought together representatives from some of the horticultural industry's leading companies, including longstanding customers, strategic partners, and colleagues who have played an important role in Hoogendoorn's growth in the region. The event provided an opportunity to recognize these relationships and celebrate this new chapter together, followed by an afternoon of networking and a traditional Mexican mariachi performance.
