Hoogendoorn is present at the World Expo 2025 in Osaka

IIVO

Grow with Intelligence

On June 10th, we take the stage at the World Expo in Osaka with a clear message: the future of horticulture is driven by intelligence and innovation. Hosted at the vibrant Festival Station, our event begins with a special moment — Jean Rummenie, Dutch Minister for Fishery, Food Security, Horticulture and Nature Conservation, will officially open the event, promoting the Dutch horticultural industry and setting the tone for a program full of cutting-edge solutions. The experience will be enriched by a live performance from the Nadeshiko Orchestra, blending innovation with culture in an inspiring way.

“The title Grow with Intelligence reflects the core of what we do: using Intelligent Algorithms in IIVO allowing growers to continuously monitor and control their greenhouse facility in an more autonomous manner, helping them to make informed decisions and, therefore, achieve better results.

A key highlight: we will be unveiling a brand-new IIVO feature. Simultaneously revealed to a global horticultural related audience at GreenTech Amsterdam exhibition, it will also make its debut for the general public at Expo Osaka, showcasing its international relevance and impact.

And there’s more. Our Japanese partners Daisen and Innochio will share how innovation takes shape in their context — tackling labor shortages, resource use, and knowledge transfer with a mix of local Japanese insights and high-tech tools.

Grow with Intelligence is open to the general public, with a maximum capacity of 332 visitors at a time. Whether you're a grower, policymaker, tech enthusiast, a horticultural student or simply curious — you’re welcome to join, experience, and be inspired.

In the weeks following the Expo, we’ll host exclusive masterclasses across Japan for customers and partners eager to dive deeper into both the technology and the mindset behind it.

Why is Hoogendoorn Growth Management at the Expo?

Because this is where global conversations happen — and we believe sustainable, intelligent horticulture should be part of that dialogue. Expo 2020 in Dubai showed us the power of connection, visibility and momentum. In Osaka, we continue that journey: strengthening ties with Japanese partners, showcasing Dutch innovation, and inviting the world to grow with us — intelligently.
